Please join the ESN Coalition at our next meeting, Tuesday, June 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the 2100 Building (2100 24th Avenue South in Seattle between South Hill and South Walker Streets).

The agenda includes a speaker, updates on the legislative session and the A+ Washington plan, welcoming new Steering Committee members, information about the $15,000 outreach sub-grants, and socializing.

Re-opening for ESN Steering Committee Grant

The current Steering Committee – comprised of the League of Education Voters, Partnership for Learning, Stand for Children, Washington – is re-opening this Request for Proposal (RFP) process to award two, 18-month grants of up to $80,000. These grants are intended to enable recipient organizations to operate as full partners on the ESN steering committee as we mobilize our work on the priorities, educate grassroots and grasstops activists about the policy plan, and recruit additional organizations to the coalition. The application deadline is May 17th, 2013.

ESN Policy Update – March 15, 2013

Last summer, Excellent Schools Now set three priorities for the 2013 Legislative Session. In this update, we provide an overview of policy bills related to our priorities. In the coming weeks, both the Senate and House will introduce budgets, and at that time will provide an update on how these budgets reflect our fiscal priorities.
